A public market planned for Boston!

Today’s Boston Globe reports that a downtown public market is planned near the Haymarket stalls.  The purpose will be different – to provide a daily market (as opposed to Haymarket’s Friday/Saturday schedule) and to showcase foods grown and produced in Massachusetts.  Sounds great to me!  The market would be about 26,000  square feet which would make it slightly smaller than Cleveland’s market.  They are also looking to develop an additional market building adjacent to Haymarket.  It sounds like it will take another two to three years to get it done.
